I got the below error message when opening SQL server 2012 configuration Manager.
“Cannot connect to WMI provider. You don’t have permission or the server is unreachable. Note that you can only manage SQL Server 2005 and later servers with SQL Server Configuration Manager. Invalid Class [0x80041010]
To Resolve this issue, I have ran the below command to register .mof files.
1. Navigate to the following path in command “C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft SQL server\110\shared>”
2. Then run the below command
mofcomp sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof
